556 bras for Tanzania

As part of her volunteering for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Ellie is helping SEEDS4tanzania in a variety of different tasks.  Today, helped by her mum Jacqui Weale (a SEEDS trustee) 556 bras were sorted into sizes and bagged up ready to be taken out  to the women of  Chitemo and Nyhinila villages.  

Bras are such a luxury for the women so each year we collect unwanted bras and take out as many as our luggage allowance allows. We are fortunate to have the Orpington Scouts visiting the area in July and who have volunteered to take out items for us - little did they know it would be BRAS!
